Terms & Conditions.

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Set Free to Serve website and ministry communications. By using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Welcome to Set Free to Serve(“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are a nonprofit corporation organized under the Wyoming Nonprofit Corporation Act, Wyo. Stat. §§ 17‑19‑101 et seq., and recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

By accessing or using the Site at https://setfreetoserve.com (“Site”) or subscribing to our communications, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Site. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Site after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Set Free to Serve is a Christian missionary support ministry established to send and sustain Abraham Ivie and Neal Iqbal as full-time missionaries in Thailand under the field-sending oversight of Global Frontier Missions. The Site exists to:

  • Share field dispatches and prayer updates from Thailand
  • Provide information about our missionaries and their work
  • Facilitate charitable donations in support of the missionary enterprise
  • Connect supporters through newsletters and ministry communications

The Site does not constitute a church, provide pastoral counseling, or serve as a substitute for local church membership.

§ 3.1

Permitted Use

You may access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial informational purposes consistent with supporting the ministry of Set Free to Serve. You may share content from the Site for non-commercial, ministry-related purposes provided you attribute Set Free to Serve and link back to the Site.

§ 3.2

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Reproduce, sell, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without written permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or our systems
  • Transmit any virus, malware, or other harmful code
  • Collect personal data about other users without their consent
  • Use automated scraping tools or bots to harvest content
  • Impersonate {ORG_NAME}, our missionaries, or any other person
  • Post or transmit any defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content

§ 3.3

Age Requirement

The Site is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

§ 4.1

Tax-Exempt Status

Set Free to Serve is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations made to Set Free to Serve are generally tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by federal and state law. However, you should consult your own tax advisor regarding deductibility in your particular circumstances. We will provide written acknowledgment of donations as required by the IRS.

§ 4.2

Use of Donated Funds

All donations are made for the general support of the ministry of Set Free to Serve unless a specific restricted designation is approved in writing by Set Free to Serve. We retain full discretion and control over donated funds, consistent with our IRS 501(c)(3) status and Wyoming nonprofit law. We are committed to directing the vast majority of donations to direct field support.

§ 4.3

Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable because they are immediately committed to ministry operations. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us at contact@setfreetoserve.com within fourteen (14) days of the transaction. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis. Refunds, if granted, will be processed to the original payment method within ten (10) business days.

§ 4.4

Payment Processing

Donation transactions are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card information. By making a donation, you agree to the payment processor’s applicable terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for any errors or interruptions in the payment processing service.

§ 4.5

Wyoming Charitable Solicitations

Set Free to Servecomplies with all applicable requirements of the Wyoming Charitable Solicitations Act, Wyo. Stat. §§ 9‑25‑101 et seq. Prospective donors may request information from the Wyoming Secretary of State’s office regarding the registration of charitable organizations.

§ 5.1

Our Content

All text, photography, video, graphics, field dispatches, and other content published on the Site (“Content”) are owned by or licensed to Set Free to Serve and protected by United States copyright law and international treaties. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial, ministry-related sharing with appropriate attribution.

§ 5.2

Field Dispatch License

Our field dispatches and ministry updates may be reproduced in church bulletins, prayer letters, and similar non-commercial ministry contexts with attribution to Set Free to Serve and a link to the Site. No commercial reproduction is permitted without written permission.

§ 5.3

Trademarks

“Set Free to Serve,” “Faith · Freedom · Missions · Discipleship,” and our logo are marks of Set Free to Serve. Use of these marks without our written consent is prohibited.

§ 5.4

Third-Party Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including Global Frontier Missions. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for third-party content, privacy practices, or availability. Access to third-party sites is at your own risk under their respective terms.

By subscribing to our newsletter or prayer updates, you consent to receive periodic email communications from Set Free to Serve. Each email will include an unsubscribe link. You may opt out at any time. We will not send spam and will honor unsubscribe requests promptly, within ten (10) business days.

Transactional emails related to donations (such as receipts and acknowledgments) will be sent regardless of your subscription status, as they are required for legal and tax compliance.

§ 7.1

No Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

§ 7.2

Accuracy of Information

We endeavor to keep field dispatches and ministry information accurate, but we make no guarantees regarding completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. Field conditions, personnel situations, and ministry circumstances can change rapidly. Nothing on the Site constitutes theological, legal, financial, or medical advice.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SET FREE TO SERVE, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, MISSIONARIES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU DONATED TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Set Free to Serveand its officers, directors, missionaries, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of another person or entity; or (d) any content you submit or transmit through the Site.

§ 10.1

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without giving effect to any conflict of law principles that would require application of the laws of another jurisdiction. The Wyoming Nonprofit Corporation Act, Wyo. Stat. §§ 17‑19‑101 et seq., governs our corporate governance. Federal law, including the Internal Revenue Code, governs our tax-exempt status.

§ 10.2

Venue

Any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

§ 10.3

Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at contact@setfreetoserve.com and provide a written description of the dispute. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the matter informally within thirty (30) days.

§ 10.4

Time Limitation

Any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the Site must be brought within one (1) year after the claim arose, regardless of any statute of limitations that would otherwise apply, to the extent permitted by Wyoming law.

§ 11.1

Corporate Status

Set Free to Serve is organized exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. No part of our net earnings shall inure to the benefit of any private individual, except as reasonable compensation for services rendered.

§ 11.2

Public Inspection

As required by federal law, certain documents — including our IRS Form 1023 application for recognition of exemption, Form 990 information returns, and Form 990-T (if applicable) — are available for public inspection. Requests for copies should be directed to contact@setfreetoserve.com.

§ 11.3

No Private Benefit

Set Free to Serve is operated in accordance with the requirements of Wyoming law governing nonprofits and IRS guidelines. We do not engage in political campaign activity or substantial lobbying. Donations cannot be used to influence legislation or support political candidates.

§ 11.4

Dissolution

Upon dissolution, the assets of Set Free to Serve shall be distributed to one or more organizations organized and operated exclusively for religious or charitable purposes qualifying as exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as determined by the Board of Directors in accordance with Wyoming law.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity provisions, and limitations of liability.

§ 13.1

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Set Free to Serve with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements.

§ 13.2

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

§ 13.3

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Set Free to Serve.

§ 13.4

No Assignment

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

§ 13.5

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, governmental restrictions, internet outages, or civil disturbances.
