Set Free to Serve ("we," "us," or "our") is a nonprofit corporation organized under the Wyoming Nonprofit Corporation Act, Wyo. Stat. §§ 17‑19‑101 et seq. We operate the website at https://setfreetoserve.com (the "Site") and associated ministry communications.

§ 2.1
Information You Give Us Directly
We collect information you voluntarily provide when you contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, or make a donation. This may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and payment information processed through our third-party payment processor.

Automatically Collected Information
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical data, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This data is collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies.

Donation and Financial Records
As a Wyoming nonprofit, we maintain records of charitable contributions as required by applicable law, including the Internal Revenue Code and Wyoming statutes. Payment card details are processed solely by our third-party processor and are never stored on our servers.

Communications
When you email or otherwise contact us, we retain records of that correspondence, including your contact details and the content of your message, to respond effectively and for our ministry records.
We use the information we collect only for legitimate ministry and operational purposes, including:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We are not a data broker.
We share personal information only in limited circumstances:

Service Providers
We engage trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our Site and ministry (e.g., payment processors, email delivery services, website hosting). These vendors are contractually bound to use your information solely to provide services to us and may not use it for their own purposes.

Global Frontier Missions
As our field-sending agency, Global Frontier Missions may receive necessary information about our supporters to coordinate missionary support, prayer teams, and financial accountability. Any such sharing is conducted under confidentiality obligations consistent with this Policy.

Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend our rights or property, prevent fraud, or protect the personal safety of others.

Organizational Transfers
In the event of a merger, dissolution, or transfer of our ministry assets to another qualified nonprofit organization, your information may be transferred as part of that transition. Recipients will be bound to honor this Privacy Policy or provide you with notice and choice.

Types of Cookies
Essential cookies are required for the Site to function and cannot be disabled. Analytics cookies (via Vercel Analytics) collect anonymous aggregate data about traffic patterns. We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies.

Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling essential cookies may impair Site functionality. Because we rely on Vercel Analytics, which uses privacy-friendly, cookieless measurement, our analytics do not require cookie consent in most jurisdictions.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations (including IRS record-keeping requirements for charitable organizations), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Donation records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years as required by applicable tax law. Email subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Upon written request, we will delete or anonymize personal information that is not subject to a legal retention obligation.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include HTTPS encryption, access controls, and reliance on PCI‑DSS compliant payment processors.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Consistent with applicable law, you have the right to:

Our Site and ministry communications are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please notify us at contact@setfreetoserve.com.
Set Free to Serve is incorporated under the Wyoming Nonprofit Corporation Act, Wyo. Stat. §§ 17‑19‑101 et seq., and complies with Wyoming's requirements applicable to charitable organizations, including any registration requirements under the Wyoming Charitable Solicitations Act, Wyo. Stat. §§ 9‑25‑101 et seq.
This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Laramie County, Wyoming.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, our annual information returns (Form 990) are publicly available and may include certain donor information as required by federal law. We comply with all IRS disclosure obligations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
For material changes, we will provide notice via email (if we have your address) or a prominent notice on the Site at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect.
